About Me

Having mentored and guided people successfully to cope with a variety of life challenges for more than 11 years, I am able to deliver these services based on my expertise, knowledge standards, and educational background. From India, I earned a Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology. As I love coaching more than therapy I chose to become a Certified Happiness Life Coach along with a Certified Mindfulness Life Coach. My additional credentials in the field are Psychology First Aid, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Science of Wellbeing from Yale University (Online).

Since 2017, I have been submitting my expert advice to the Times of India's "Ask the Expert Column", some of which have been translated into Hindi, Telugu, Indonesian, and Croatian-to name a few. The other common platforms to read my thoughts are Midday, Mumbai Mirror, New Age Women, Teenager Today, etc. I was honored with the "Women of Excellence" award by the Women's Economic Forum in 2018.

Rachana, as my name means, ‘to create’, I have been discovering indigenous ways of evolving myself and my clients for a better life- a life to live to the fullest. My selfless commitment and striking an everlasting relationship, again and again, has given me opportunities to work & serve different institutions - Fidai Institutions, Tata Institute of Social Sciences and Umang Foundation Trust, etc, and a few corporate affiliations - InnerSight, Expert Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.

I am proud to share that I have conducted sessions for Veer Naris of India (Indian Army Families) for three years on emotional well-being, maintaining healthy relationships, and how to move from clutter to clarity.
